My name is Margaret Roberts, my husband & I moved to Coastal Carolina in 2024. I love the beach, dogs, and practicing yoga.
I have been passionate about yoga for over a decade. When I first started practicing yoga it was simply a physical exercise to me. Getting certified in teaching has taken me on a spiritual journey where my practice

I have been passionate about yoga for over a decade. When I first started practicing yoga it was simply a physical exercise to me. Getting certified in teaching has taken me on a spiritual journey where my practice is so much deeper. It brings so much clarity and inner peace to my life I only wish I discovered yoga when I was a younger.

At Salty Dawg Yoga the mission is to provide a welcoming and inclusive space for individuals to explore the physical and mental benefits of yoga. I believe that yoga is for every body and strive to create a supportive, safe space for all students to explore their practice. In classes you will often hear me reference my black labrador as he reminds me to "shake off stress" and practice my Downward Facing Dog!

I love to teach new students the basics so they can safely get into poses by understanding proper alignment. I enjoy creating standing sequences to challenge your mind and body. Balance poses and a lot of stretching is something you will find in all of my classes. While I encourage all students to be grateful for their amazing bodies, t
I love to teach new students the basics so they can safely get into poses by understanding proper alignment. I enjoy creating standing sequences to challenge your mind and body. Balance poses and a lot of stretching is something you will find in all of my classes. While I encourage all students to be grateful for their amazing bodies, to focus on breathwork and mindfulness I also love to laugh and bring a bit of levity to my classes as well.
